Dangote remain No 1 richest man in Africa, Forbes

According to Forbes’ Africa 50 richest 2015 released, Dangote still remains the number one richest African for the fifth
year in a row, but his $16.7 billion net worth is nearly $5 billion lower than
a year ago, a result of a drop in the stock price at his Dangote Cement and a
weaker Nigerian currency.

Dangote lost N1 trillion ($5 billion) in one year as a result of drop in prices
of shares at the stock market in Dangote cement even as he retains his position
as Africa’s richest man.

Ikoyi, Lekki 1 and 2 and Abijo Residential Schemes, to take physical possession
and develop the plots allocated to them on or before December 14, 2015.
According to Mr .Bode Agoro, the Permanent Secretary, Lands
Bureau,gave the directive on behalf of the state government, stated that it (the directive) is in line with the policy
thrust of the government in allocating lands to citizens in residential schemes
which is to assist them meet their desire of building houses of their own.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State
and All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, said that choosing a worthy successor

in Saudi Arabia A man attempted to smuggle 48,000 cans of beer into Saudi
Arabia by disguising them with Pepsi labels.
In trying to achieve this the man covered the Heineken beer
cans with pepsi labels but was apprehended as he attempted to cross the Al
Batha border into Saudi Arabia, when border control officers noticed something
suspicious about his cargo.

Stop appointing incompetent persons as Power Ministers: Ex-Minister to FG
Suleiman Bello,Former Minister of Power, on Thursday said that one of the major problems in the
power sector is the incompetence of ministers appointed to man the sector over
the years.
Suleiman Bello said this to the Senate Ad hoc Committee on
Power during the ongoing power probe that another problem was that the
ministers appointed were usually given a short period of time to work.
Saying that, although there is no doubt that privatization
was a good step, the 2005 Environmental Protection Regulation Act (EPR) must
also be reviewed from time to time.

Speaking on Wednesday night at a reception organised in his

Kogi, Bayelsa Polls: US Mission Warns Against Violence
The United States government has warned Nigerians against
